In 2005 I survived a brain tumor and Cushings Disease. That experience gave me a new lease on life. I woke up from surgery knowing that I had been given a gift; The realization that life, while fragile, is precious and should never be taken for granted. My way of life since then has been based on surrounding myself with people and things that make me happy, standing up for what I believe in, being true to myself in living life to the fullest and being engaged in my passions. These things have brought me back to my long time love affair with art.
